Created by Professional Touch Fitness founder and former U.S. Army Sergeant Nate Griffin, The Ranger Training Boot Camp is based on his 17 years of military training. We seek to offer you a taste of military experience as part of your health and fitness program. We won’t scream at you, we won’t embarrass you, and we won’t push you to the point of injury to prove we have a high intensity fitness program. We will teach you, we will motivate you, we will inspire you, and we will encourage you to give your best to be your best.
The program is divided into 3 phases where the intensity increases either through sets, repetitions, or combinations of exercises. To help give you that ‘military’ feel, all classes are conducted outside rain, snow or shine. If it’s a military experience you want…we have it here in the Ranger Training Boot Camp.
You can expect to run, run, run, and run some more. All military elite forces pride themselves on running for distance and condition themselves to do so while wearing heavy equipment. You will get to do that as well during your training experience with us. You can also expect to do body weigh calisthenics, plyometric conditioning, core conditioning, agility training, flexibility conditioning, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning all enveloped in a military covering. Classic exercises such as pushups, sit ups, squats, burpees, lunges, gorilla drills, grass drills, low crawling and yes, rolling in the mud when the opportunity presents itself, are all waiting for you…the recruit. So, if you have a distance run or obstacle course challenge in your view to get ready for, we are just what you need to succeed.
All first time attendees are given the opportunity to see where they best fit into the program. In the beginning, you will feel as if you can handle the program, many have done the same and were rudely awakened when they found out how challenging this system really is. It is guaranteed to give you a chest tightening, lung collapsing, abdominal locking, thigh burning workout. During your military training experience, you will find yourself in the 3-V mode. The V (variation) allows the instructor to assess your tolerance for the program. V-1: All recuts do the same thing at the same time. V-2: All recuts training at their level of fitness. V-3: Recuts are given routines commensurate to their goals (by phase III). Because of this system of training, you will not see Sgt. Nate training with you. It’s during this time that he as a drill instructor would, over sees the training to ensure a safe and effective training experience for all involved.
Completing our first last year, The Beast of the East 10K obstacle mud run in Ft. Dix, NJ is our annual fitness pilgrimage where we get to put all of our training to the test. You too can join us as a Jr. Ranger with the confidence that you will fare well. We train all year for this event. So, join us for the U.S. Army military experience you read and heard so much about. With Professional Touch Fitness Studio’s Ranger Training Boot Camp we don’t act military, we are military. Success Always…Hooah!!!
